Software that provides a scalable, more easily accessible solution for producing holographic content with ease...anywhere, anytime.
Aemass delivers static & real-time 3D scenes of people & live events using a single depth camera & its patented capture technology, no extra set up, no green screens & no markers. However, all of its holographic content is recorded either in-house or with staff on site. Content creators have no way of producing this type of content on their own & at their own leisure.
Brands and content creators from various industries (medical, journalism, event production & fitness) were looking to bring novelty or insightful data to their user & client base. Ranging in video production experience, these users would need a lot of onboarding to ensure high quality holograms.
Flow modeling methods were introduced to build a high-level overview of the interface screen requirements, user flow & interactions so the team could gain a quick understanding of how the software would be expected to work
To help establish familiarity with the capture process, icons were assigned as visual references. Below are some remnants of the graphic exploration
The objective of the software interface was to deliver a MVP that demonstrated not only capability but also ease of use.
We applied the flow of interactions into a linear layout then assembled individual graphical elements to create the first version of a scalable holographic product software to be used by a small base of clients, investors & partners.
The linear interface only served as a short-term placeholder for the studio software created with little design iteration. The next version needed to guide the user with instructional content more effectively & demonstrate each of the three capture items.
